Ban Gas Extraction Using High-Volume Slick-Water Hydraulic Fracturing in the Town of Newfield, NY 

We, the undersigned residents and landowners of the Town of Newfield, urge the Town Council to ban gas extraction using high volume slick-water hydraulic fracturing in the Town of Newfield.

The methods used and the heavy industrial development that accompanies high-volume slick-water hydraulic fracturing threaten our clean air, clean water, soil, rural landscapes and health, as well as our social and economic well-being.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SIGNING THE PETITION

1. You must be at least 18 yrs old
2. You must
   • reside in Newfield
     OR
   • own land in Newfield

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

PAUSE will not publicize or post the names or addresses of signers of this petition anywhere. Once the petition is presented to the Newfield Town Council, however, it becomes public information, and anyone may go to the Town Hall and view the petition and the names and addresses of the signers.

Your Email will remain confidential and will not be publicized, rented, sold, or given to anyone (including the Town Council). Your Email address will be used only to send you a confirmation that you signed. You will not be added to any Email lists unless you give us permission on the petition form.
